Personal Update

If you follow me on social media, you have probably already seen that I am leaving Nebraska. My husband, Moises, received a promotion with Common Defense, and we will be moving to Pittsburgh, PA within the next few months. For so long, I was determined to stay here and make Nebraska a better place for everyone. But, after the results of the legislative session last year and getting little to no help from national organizations to help put up a fight, we began exploring options to move. This opportunity came along, and I have to do what is best for my family's health and well-being. I will miss organizing alongside all of you still trying to make Nebraska the loving, inclusive place that it has the potential to be. I am also very excited to have this opportunity for our family to have a new start in a new place. Not sure how often I'll be posting for a while as we prepare to move. ✌🏻
